Things to look for when buying a home here that are not obvious.
Trees. Large trees are issues during a hurricane. It’s approximately $1,000 to remove a mature Long Leaf Pine tree. Here you get mature landscape and the danger of hurricanes replanting trees in your roof, or you get no trees and you curse the heat and your neigbhors dining room window.
You need to choose and remember if you buy a house with a lot of trees needing attention, factor that into the price.
